Petra Praise 2: We Need Jesus - 1997 - Word

Yet another Petra Praise album with more church songs transformed into rock. But on this album, Petra is more contemporary; there is less rock and more acoustic stuff. This album is not too appealing to the Petra fan that likes the rock, but you should like "Be of Good Cheer", "I've Waited for the Lord on High", and "Lord I lift Your Name on High" if you're one of them. "We Need Jesus" of course is the best song. Lonnie Chapin actually sings on WNJ. This album features Lonnie Chapin as bass and Kevin Brandow with guitars on tour.
